The What
We are bringing our users a modern, streamlined interface that promotes task completion with minimal context-switching and inter-feature actions. The New Weave Experience comes equipped with better multi-location support, allowing our users to experience all the features of Weave for one, some, or all of their locations in a centralized spot. The New Weave Experience also seeks to consolidate our separate platforms (desktop app, portal, forms portal) into one unified view.
The Why
Our multi-location customers lack a sophisticated, well-integrated experience on our Legacy Application. Users of multiple locations share frequent concerns around the laborious task of switching locations to be able to send and receive messages, place calls, and more. Our Legacy Application is also lacking space, breathing room. Continuing to cram more features into the app without creating space will cause important information to be buried and severely impact how users can complete complex interactions. We want to provide our users the quickest, most direct way to complete their daily duties.
The How
Every feature released has gone through rigorous amounts of effort including, but not limited to a research phase, low-fidelity prototyping, user interviews and design testing, high-fidelity prototyping, design reviews, partner critiques, engineering reviews, design approvals, development phases, UAT, Q/A, live user testing, and more. Every feature has been conceived and designed in relentless pursuit of the optimal user experience, the quickest completion of the user’s job, and the most beautiful form. All features have been created for single and multi locations, alike.
